Louise Davidson, Chief Executive Officer

Louise is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI). 

Appointed CEO in April 2015, Louise has more than 20 years senior expertise in the financial services and superannuation industry.  She joined ACSI from Cbus, where, as Investment Manager, ESG, she was responsible for the integration of ESG issues within Cbus’ investment processes.

In 2015 Louise was named Victoria’s Local Hero in the Australian of the Year Awards for her work as the co-founder and National Chair of the Mother’s Day Classic Walk/Run for Breast Cancer Research.  Established in 1998, this ongoing national event has raised in excess of $33 million for breast cancer research. Louise is a Director of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and a Director of the Board of the International Integrated Reporting initiative.


Ed John, Executive Manager, Governance, Engagement and Policy

Ed has over 10 years’ experience advising ACSI members on responsible investment issues. Ed is responsible for ACSI’s engagement with ASX-listed boards, policy formation and proxy voting research. With a background in law and financial services, Ed has extensive experience producing research and engaging with the boards of Australia’s largest companies on a range of ESG investment issues. 

Ed holds a Bachelor of Laws with honours, Master of Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne and a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Kate Griffiths, Executive Manager, Public Policy and Advocacy

Kate is responsible for ACSI’s public policy and advocacy program. Kate was formerly the Head of Governance, Risk and Audit Committee and Disclosure at BHP, and, prior to that, a senior associate at Blake Dawson (now Ashurst).

Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws (with honours) and a Bachelor of Arts. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course and a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.


Jane Rennie, Executive Manager, Communications and Public Relations 

Jane leads ACSI’s member and stakeholder communications and media strategy.

Prior to joining ACSI, Jane was the Communications and Marketing Manager in the Research and Innovation Portfolio at RMIT University. Before this, she worked as a Senior Advisor, Communications and Planning at ASIC for a number of years. Jane previously lectured in corporations and finance law at La Trobe University and practiced as a lawyer at Allens Arthur Robinson. She has a master’s degree in Global Business Law and was awarded her PhD in 2008.


Connie Howe, Executive Manager, Finance and Corporate Services

Connie is responsible for overseeing ACSI’s finance function, risk and compliance matters, strategic and business planning processes, internal policies and procedures as well as managing office facilities. 

Connie’s extensive career in finance and business consulting includes senior positions at PwC Melbourne, New York and Shanghai, American international Assurance and Victorian Auditor-General's Office.

Connie is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 Claire Molinari

Claire Molinari, Manager, Research

Claire has 10 years experience working in sustainable investment. Prior to joining ACSI in November 2018, Claire worked as ESG Governance Strategist at QSuper and as ESG Analyst at London-based global equities manager Sarasin & Partners.

Claire has a Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and a DPhil (PhD) from Oxford. Her thesis examined the legal framework around sustainable investment, with a focus on fiduciary duty and intergenerational equity. She has published peer-reviewed papers, book chapters and professional reports in the field. Claire qualified as an Australian Lawyer in 2007.

Carole Alt, Company Secretary

Carole joined ACSI in 2018 to provide corporate governance and company secretarial support to the ACSI Board, its Committees and the Member Council.  Prior to ACSI, she was a Company Secretary in the financial services and health sectors; most recently at ANZ Banking Group Limited.

Carole holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance and is also qualified in Business, Health and Education.  She is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and facilitator at the Governance Institute of Australia.

Mike Harut, Manager, Equities Research and Engagement

Mike plays a leading role in ACSI’s engagement with ASX listed companies, as well as providing voting advice to members and undertaking research.

Mike first joined ACSI as an analyst in 2012 and recently re-joined the team after working at the Future Fund, Australia’s sovereign wealth fund. Mike’s career started with mergers and acquisitions roles at KPMG and UBS.

Mike has degrees with Honours in Commerce and Law from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.


Ian McIIwraith, Governance and Engagement Analyst

Ian is part of ACSI's governance research, voting and company engagement program. An experienced business journalist by background, he is leading ACSI’s drive to increase the amount of women on company boards to a minimum 30%.


 Anh Nguyen, Equities Analyst

Anh joined ACSI in 2016 and is part of the governance research, voting and company engagement team. Prior to ACSI, Anh worked in quantitative research and policy roles in Industry Super Australia, Lonsec Ltd and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Anh held first class honour from Monash University. Her research on Australian and international equity markets has been published in a number of peered-review journals.


Jodie Barns,  ESG Analyst

Jodie joined ACSI in 2016 as a part of the SuperGrad program and is in the governance research, voting and company engagement team. Jodie has a Bachelor of International Studies from Deakin University, a Bachelor of Strategic Communication from La Trobe University, a Diploma of Superannuation and is currently working towads a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance. 

Her final year research projects were focused on sustainable economic development and the governance of multinational companies operating in developing nations. 


Kim Eden, Manager, Member Communications and Events

Kim joined ACSI in July 2008 to coordinate the organisation’s communications needs. Her primary responsibility is to manage ACSI’s member information, website, publications, marketing materials and events.

Prior to ACSI, Kim was based in the UK for seven years working for international oil and gas company Statoil, as their Public Affairs Consultant.


Quyen Ngo, Senior Accountant

Quyen provides assistance to the executive manager of finance and corporate services/company secretary. Quyen joined ACSI in 2017, and her diverse career in accountancy ranges from roles in public practice, commercial and non-profit organizations.

Quyen graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) with distinction and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Chris Panagiotopoulos, Engagement Team Assistant

Chris has been with ACSI since its formation in 2001, providing overall administrative support to the organisation. In addition to her responsibilities with ACSI, Chris also worked for IFS Legal, as executive assistant to the partners of the firm. After a short break, Chris has re-joined ACSI providing administrative support to the governance research, voting and company engagement team.
